ABN Amro Asset Management Appoints New US Head

ABN Amro Asset Management has appointed Thomas Leavitt as president and chief executive officer for its North America operations with immediate effect. He will also serve on the regional management committee for ABN Amro North America. Mr Leavitt joins ABN Amro from Standard & Poor's where he was global head of client service and sales and was a member of the S&P executive committee. Mr Leavitt previously worked at Alliance Capital, United Asset Management, Fidelity Investments and Citigroup Asset Management.
